The Fleet Captain at TS&CC is interested in hosting a "Kirby/One Design" event (may, or may not include other classes such as J-24/Thunderbirds/Sharks, etc.. but certainly no PHRF!) in September.
So who want's to come to TO? What would be the preferred weekend? Before, or after BYC?
No ice in the water, good breeze, located nicely between FBYC and DYC...C'mon, it's a no brainer...

OY! A no brainer?! well, that's obviously for me! woooooo!
Does this negate your "icebreaker" in may? Is there even any interest in that still? Either from the TS&CC or from any of the fleet?

The week before BYC is Cornucopia. If you have it the week after Barrie that will mean there are 3 regattas in 3 weeks in September. That will water down the participation at all of them.

Try to work around the Shark Homecomers Regatta too. Lots of K-25 guys do that regatta.
