Two separate Push Pits may replace the original single Stern Pushpit on the transom. The original factory supplied Stern Pushpit may be modified as long as it meets the criteria stated herein.

For any stern pushpit, original, replacement or modified, the bottom of the attachment point for the top lifeline that runs along the side of the boat must be minimum 450 mm above the sheer line at that location.

The top horizontal rail of the bow pulpit must be a minimum of 500 mm above the sheer line at that location. There must be at least four vertical supports for the bow pulpit.

Hello Everyone,

There has been a lot of activity on the Kirby 25 forums as everyone is getting excited about the upcoming sailing season. As a result of the discussions two rule proposals have been forwarded to me. I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to vote Yes or No  for each of the following TWO proposals. The votes will be tabulated when I get back from Cuba March 1, 2009. If you have any questions prior to the vote please feel free to contact me. These rules will not be accepted unless we have a quorum of eleven and two-thirds of the votes are cast in favour.
